 My sweet Chase,

You don't face time me as much as you did in the summer, that is too sad!  But the other day you did facetime me and first thing you said was " I"m not here to chitchat, I have a question for you"  The question was if you left a stuffed animal at the lake house.  haha you are too funny, I was not to expect you to waste time chitchatting. 

I won't be able to see you at Christmas this year, I am so sad about this.  I understand with the pandemic but it is hard at this age, because I just don't want to waste any of my remaining years.  And not sure how many more good years I will have to play with you and Hayden and Lorelei.

 My dear Chase

I sure love you and enjoy your company.  Papa and I stopped at your house on our way to Florida to spend the afternoon and give you all your birthday presents.   You are funny, you would ask me what time you could open presents and i said 1:38, so you would watch the clock and let me know the time.  Your daddy was very time oriented also.  He went to camp one year and he sent me a letter and all it was was times that he did things.  too funny

We probably won't be seeing you for awhile because of this virus.  It sure makes me sad. Life is too short and before you know it you will be looking back, wondering where it all went. 

I think I told you that in the beginning of the pandemic you called me all the same and sent me texts all the time.  It was awesome to hear from you so much.  But now you are back in school, virtual, and I don't hear from you very much.

Uncle Shane and Aunt Staci went down to see you guys a few weeks ago to deliver some birthday presents too and all of you kids had a great time.  Caden and Kiera did not want to leave.

 My dear Chase.

 Well, you are back in school now, virtual school, but it keeps you busy, and I don't hear from you anymore.  So sad :(

We went to your house the last week of August and you were SO excited to have us come see you.  You told me "I can't wait to see you, come right to my room and hug me"  You wanted to know what time we were leaving, how traffic was and what time we would be there.  If you were asleep, then I was still to go to your room and give you a hug, but you  would surely be awake, because you read a lot in your room. 

You are a little sweetheart and I miss all our calls and texts.  

I have started to read a chapter book to you and Caden about a second grader. Hope you like it.

You were showing me one of your books on facetime, it was about animals and you were showing me where it lived and I said "Oh wow, is that is? that is really something, etc"  I was being very interested in what you were showing me and you said "Oh grami. don't be impressed by that. I will show you something else that is a lot better"!!

Oh my dear Chase!
You are quite a sweet little grandson.  You call me all the time face time and send me messages.  It all makes me very happy. 
You guys all come to the lake house for the 4th of July and One day before you were here Caden, Kiera and I were face timing you guys and Kiera says "Lorelei, I am excited to see you"  and you say"She is excited to see you too, she doesn't talk much"    you are pretty funny, we don't have to worry about you talking, you are very able to talk to everyone.
You love taking pictures and took some pictures of the fireworks at the lake and you sent them to me and you said "this one is by far my favorite"  ha, cracked me up.
And you wanted to let me know you were going to read me a book when we took you home, because it was your personal favorite.
You all spent 4 nights at the lake house and then you Lorelei and Hayden spent 3 nights with us in McKean house.  It was the first time you have all been away at our house for alone and you were all very good and were in no hurry to get home.  Made me happy that you were all so comfortable.  When I said it was time to take you home, you said "well, at least you are staying with us for 3 days, so I won't miss you"
You are so so tall and skinny. And you are a great little swimmer.  We had such a good time with you here and so happy you came to visit

oh my precious Chase!
With this pandemic of 2020, I haven't seen you forever, but I get close to 50 emojis on my phone everyday from you.  And I get a lot of I love you's.  MAkes my day.  I sure love you too Chase.  And you want me to send you pictures of 3D animals b/c your phone can't do 3D.  So I have been sending you some and you are always so sweet about it.  And thank me, makes me so happy.  I just love you so much and you were supposed to spend a week here this summer at July 4th.  I sure hope that happens b/c I am looking forward to it

My dear Chase!
You are such a dear to me and I love you so much
We are in the middle of the 2020 pandemic, so we haven't seen each other for quite some time.  But your daddy gave you his old phone, so you facetime me quite a bit, for awhile it was every day, sometimes more than once a day.  It was so cute.  You don't do it quite as much as you used to, but the other day I called you and you answered and said "grammie, I am sorry I didn't call you yesterday"  haha, made me laugh, you are so sweet.  I love that you call me, makes me whole day and I love and I miss you
