oh my sweet little Chase!
Daddy gave you his old phone and you are allowed to use it if they allow you to. You are 7 years old. So, pretty much every day you facetime me and it just cracks me up. I love to see you everyday. and it is so nice to build a relationship with you. I am excited to see you next week for Christmas. You really want snow here when you come, but I am afraid there won't be any.

Chase,
You sure do love fishing and when you were up here in the summer Papa took you a couple times and you loved it. There is a boat on the canal and the name is "Turd Cutter" and of course you boys can read now and you all think it is hysterical. You drew a picture of a boat at school and gave it the name of turd cutter! oh my.
You drew another picture a few days ago of you and Papa in a boat fishing and wrote it is fun to fish.
Papa would love to have a fishing buddy

My precious Chase!
Your daddy gave you his old phone and you are allowed to facetime me and I guess you can do it whenever you want, so you love that. Sometimes you call me twice a day. One day you called me and you say "hi grammie" and we talked a few seconds and you said "grammie, I am not happy right now!" and I asked why and you said "because I was going outside and I shut my fingers in the door and it hurt" awe!!! your daddy was in the background and said you were not going to go outside ever again. Ha.
You called me this morning and showed me that your elf, Bobby, came to your house last night, so you were pretty excited.

My sweet Chase!
Papa and I were at your house for 5 days helping out babysitting you and getting ready for a joint birthday party for you and your brother and sister and then on 9/1 we celebrated your daddy and Sommer. What a party weekend. How fun
The one day you and I and Papa went out for lunch and you said "How come you don't have gray hair like Papa" and I said "well, I have aunt Sommer color my hair" and you said " so, if she didn't color your hair, would you be a gray haired girl" and then a few days later you asked me more about the gray hair and I asked if I should tell Sommer not to color my hair and you didn't think I should do that.
You are such a chatterbox, you don't stop and you want to tell me everything about video games and really I don't even care about them but I love hearing you tell me stuff.
Papa took you fishing twice and was teaching you how to cast. This kept you pretty quiet, I think b/c you were concentrating on the casting. You really love to learn about fishing

My sweet Chase,
You asked your daddy the other day if I would still be alive when you grow up and he said yes and you said "then I want to live near the lake house" and your daddy said "don't you want to live near me?" and you asked if he would still be alive when you grew up and he said yes and you said "I still want to be near the lake house so I can go there and not have to drive so far". How cute is that. I hope someday soon, you will be able to spend a week with us.
We are going to your house next week to celebrate all the birthdays coming up this fall. Can't wait to see you

You told your daddy that you wanted to go to the lake house every month b/c you missed Papa taking you fishing. I would love you to come every month. I miss you.
You are so proud of riding your bike, your mommy had to send a video to me of you riding and today you had daddy do a facetime so I could see you riding your bike again. I love that you are so proud and want to show me. I sent you a video back to your mommy and she said you had a big smile when you watched me talking to you.

My sweet Chase,
I got to see you this week at the lake house and it was so nice to be with you again. You read a book to me, you just finished kindergarten. I was pretty proud of you and you learned to ride a bike, so you showed me and you rode the bike to the lake and back, you were a little wobbly and you kept looking over to see if I was watching, which made it even more wobbly. Too funny. I am so happy you learned to ride a bike.
We had the cousin party at the lake house and went to the parade. You asked me if we were going to be in the parade and I said not and you said that's good. Haha. I guess b/c we were all wearing red white and blue and the girls were putting stuff in their hair and the boys had hats etc.
You were so happy to have papa take you fishing. I think you guys went out 3 or 4 times. and the fish just were not biting. And the one time you came in I asked if you had a nibble and you said no and I said Oh man, I am sorry you aren't even getting any bites. You said " grammie, it doesn't matter, it is just lots of fun to go fishing and I don't care if I don't get a fish" Haha, reminds me of papa, he says "fishing is great, catching a fish is a bonus"
The next day papa did get a perch and he let you reel it in, you were pretty happy about that.

My sweet Chase,
Papa and I just spent the weekend watching you guys while your parents went to NYC and then Monday while your kindergarten was closed for the day. We took you to a play at your school on Saturday and on Monday we just had you with us. So, we went to Bass Pro and you sat on every 4 wheeler and watched the fish and we went out to lunch and went to 5 Below to buy some toys! haha, you had a fun time. But I really had a good time with you You spent a lot of time swimming.

Oh Chase, you can be so silly. Your daddy called me the other day and you guys were playing outside and you asked him who he was talking to and he said me and you come over and shout in the phone "I love you" and I said I love you too and your daddy told you what I said because you were already moving on and you said "Of course she does"!! too funny.
