My sweet Chase,
I got to see you this week at the lake house and it was so nice to be with you again.  You read a book to me, you just finished kindergarten.  I was pretty proud of you and you learned to ride a bike, so you showed me and you rode the bike to the lake and back, you were a little wobbly and you kept looking over to see if I was watching, which made it even more wobbly.  Too funny.  I am so happy you learned to ride a bike.
We had the cousin party at the lake house and went to the parade.  You asked me if we were going to be in the parade and I said not and you said that's good.  Haha.  I guess b/c we were all wearing red white and blue and the girls were putting stuff in their hair and the boys had hats etc.
You were so happy to have papa take you fishing.  I think you guys went out 3 or 4 times. and the fish just were not biting.  And the one time you came in I asked if you had a nibble and you said no and I said Oh man, I am sorry you aren't even getting any bites.  You said " grammie, it doesn't matter, it is just lots of fun to go fishing and I don't care if I don't get a fish"   Haha, reminds me of papa, he says "fishing is great, catching a fish is a bonus"
The next day papa did get a perch and he let you reel it in, you were pretty happy about that.
